Customs Director inspects Abdali Port to strengthen operational readiness

Director General of the General Administration of Customs, Fatima Al-Qallaf, was on a field inspection at the Abdali Customs Port to oversee the efficiency of customs operations and monitor the movement of goods, shipments, and vehicles.

The visit, according to Al-Rai daily, focused on ensuring that inspection procedures maintain a balance between operational smoothness and strict compliance with customs security protocols.

According to a statement issued by the General Administration of Customs, the visit included a review of the procedures for handling incoming and outgoing trucks, the readiness of customs inspectors, and the technologies in place to support inspection operations.

Al-Qallaf emphasized that the visit aligns with the administration’s strategic goals to strengthen field oversight, enhance the working environment within customs, and boost coordination with relevant authorities to ensure optimal performance and discipline.

She was accompanied by the Deputy Director General for Investigation and Research, Sami Al-Kandari, and a number of senior officials and technical staff.
