Ministry of Education transitions to electronic system for ministerial decisions

In a significant step toward digital transformation, the Minister of Education, Eng. Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabaei, has issued a circular to all affiliated sectors and departments, halting the use of paper-based communication for ministerial decisions and officially adopting the internal departmental electronic system as the primary platform for issuing and exchanging official directives.

The Ministry emphasized that recipients must monitor and manage all communications via the approved digital platform, considering any decision received through the system as formally delivered.

Relevant parties are fully responsible for timely implementation and will be held accountable for any delays, failures, or legal consequences stemming from non-compliance or mismanagement of decisions, reports Al-Rai daily.

This directive reflects the Minister’s commitment to enhancing administrative efficiency, expediting workflow processes, and minimizing the risk of lost or damaged paper documents. The shift to an electronic system also aims to strengthen governance, promote transparency, and reduce administrative costs across the Ministry.

The Ministry reiterated that the move supports its broader goal of institutional development, boosting communication between departments, and aligning with best practices in digital governance.
