Al-Jaber says, National Security Network key to military communications upgrade

Kuwait’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Major General Pilot Sabah Al-Jaber, during a visit to the Signal Corps, has affirmed the strategic importance of the National Security Network Development Project, describing it as a key pillar in strengthening the military communications system and ensuring a secure and integrated electronic infrastructure.

During the visit he received a detailed briefing on the core responsibilities of the Corps, the ongoing technical projects, and future modernization plans, reports Al-Rai daily.

Major General Al-Jaber praised the professionalism of the personnel and emphasized the need for timely implementation of the network project, in line with the highest technical and cybersecurity standards.

He also highlighted the importance of regular stress testing of the network under various operational conditions to ensure its resilience and reliability and called for enhanced coordination with relevant authorities and ongoing training to maintain operational excellence and adaptability to rapidly evolving communication technologies.

The National Security Network aims to provide robust and secure communications across Kuwait’s military and security institutions through advanced infrastructure and technology, supporting national defense readiness and secure information flow.
