As part of continued coordination among government entities, a meeting was held to follow up on the latest developments in the new passenger terminal project (T2) at Kuwait International Airport.

The session brought together officials from the Ministry of Public Works, led by Minister Dr. Noura Mohammed Al-Mishaan, and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), represented by its Chairman, Engineer Hamoud Al-Sabah, reports Al-Rai daily.

The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of the terminal’s three main construction packages, while also addressing a number of outstanding technical and administrative issues between the two authorities.

The aim was to remove any obstacles that might delay the project and to unify efforts for achieving optimal execution efficiency.

This coordination reflects the shared commitment to accelerating project completion within the approved timeframe. Officials emphasized the importance of the terminal in enhancing the infrastructure of Kuwait’s air transport sector and improving the quality of services offered at Kuwait International Airport.
