KUNA organizes tech-focused training camp for children of employees
. . . in partnership with Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity

The Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) has organized a special training camp for the children of its employees under the title “Educational Environment for a Creative Future”, in collaboration with the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity.
The three-day event, hosted at KUNA headquarters, introduces children to foundational skills in software development, electronic circuits, and robotics programming through Cuboid courses.
This initiative marks the first cooperation between KUNA and the center, to empower children from an early age with future-oriented technical skills and to foster creative thinking in fields like information technology and automation.
Nada Al-Daihani, Director-General of the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center, described the camp as a distinctive step in advancing social responsibility.
She praised KUNA for going beyond its core media mission to support the development of young minds, aligning with the center’s goal of nurturing innovation and technical excellence in youth.
Al-Daihani noted that the camp follows the model of specialized science clubs, targeting children aged seven and above with practical learning in programming, robotics, design, and electronics.
KUNA’s Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Lamia Al-Farsi, affirmed that the initiative reflects the agency’s deep commitment to investing in human capital. She emphasized that the partnership with the center reflects KUNA’s broader strategy to support the development of future generations and enrich their technological capabilities.
