FAIPS (DPS) students participate in School Connect Program conducted by IIT Madras

FAIPS (DPS) consistently goes beyond traditional schooling by providing students with opportunities aligned with the latest educational advancements, equipping them to adapt successfully to future life situations.

In one of such initiatives, five students from FAIPS — Vipin Kumar Rai Avanika Vishwajeet Dubal, Neha Modem, Gargi Vivek Dabare and Shlok Prakashkumar Patel — successfully participated in the prestigious School Connect Program conducted by IIT Madras.

This eight-week certification initiative is designed to introduce senior school students to key concepts in emerging technologies, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electronic Systems, and Architecture & Design.

The program included recorded lectures, live sessions and assignments, providing practical learning experiences that supplement the traditional school curriculum. It offered students a unique opportunity to gain early exposure to high-demand fields while developing critical thinking and analytical skills.

The School Connect Program offered three specialized courses tailored for students of Classes X, XI and XII:

  • Introduction to Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
  • Introduction to Electronic Systems
  • Introduction to Architecture and Design

Topics covered ranged from AI algorithms and image classification to electronics miniaturization, energy systems and design aesthetics. Our students showed exceptional enthusiasm and commitment, actively engaging in all aspects of the course.

On behalf of the management, the Principal Mr. Ravi Ayanoli congratulated the students for this notable accomplishment and expressed gratitude to IIT Madras for creating an enriching academic platform that inspires the next generation of innovators and thinkers.
