33 workers caught violating outdoor work ban in June: PAM

As part of its ongoing enforcement of the ministerial decision prohibiting laborers working in open areas during peak afternoon hours — from May 31 to the end of August– the Public Authority for Manpower released the inspection statistics for the month of June 2025.
PAM said 60 work sites across Kuwait were inspected during June and 30 companies were found in violation of the law — 33 workers found working during the restricted hours which run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Authority confirmed the 30 companies were revisited by inspection teams and found to be in compliance during the follow-up checks as none of the violators were caught repeating the offense, reports Al-Jarida daily.
Moreover, the Authority said it received 12 reports from the public of suspected violations throughout June and reiterated the importance of community cooperation in ensuring the safety and rights of workers, urging citizens and residents to report any violations of the midday outdoor work ban. Reports can be submitted via WhatsApp on the dedicated number 6192 2493.
The ban aims to protect workers from heat stress during the peak summer months and is part of Kuwait’s broader commitment to occupational safety and labor rights.
