PAMA organizes unique perfume and skincare workshop for children under 13

As part of its ongoing summer program designed to develop the skills and social abilities of children under its care, the Public Authority for Minors’ Affairs (PAMA) organized a vibrant and enriching field trip to CocoonLab in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area as part of a broader series of activities to nurture creativity, scientific curiosity, and social interaction among minors.
The carefully planned excursion brought together 30 minors under the age of 13, accompanied by a dedicated group of administrative staff from the Authority who provided supervision and support throughout the day. The event was described by PAMA as a “new and unique experience” for the children, who enthusiastically participated in a variety of interactive and hands-on activities.
The highlights of the trip included exploratory workshops where the children learned to create perfumes and skin care products using safe, natural ingredients. These sessions were designed not only to educate participants about basic chemistry and production processes but also to encourage them to explore their senses, creativity, and interest in natural wellness products.
In addition to the fragrance and skincare workshops, the children also took part in scientific demonstrations and hands-on experiments tailored to their age group. These segments introduced them to fundamental scientific principles in a fun and approachable way, helping spark early interest in science and discovery.
The Authority noted that beyond education, the trip also offered entertaining and joyful experiences that contributed to the children’s overall development—strengthening motor skills, boosting social engagement, and fostering creative thinking in a lighthearted, stress-free environment.
This initiative is part of PAMA’s annual summer program, which includes a variety of educational, social, and recreational events aimed at the comprehensive development of minors. The program emphasizes fun and non-traditional learning methods that help the children gain confidence, discover new interests, and build valuable life skills in an inclusive and nurturing atmosphere.
By organizing trips such as this, the Public Authority for Minors’ Affairs affirms its commitment to supporting the well-being and personal development of its beneficiaries, ensuring they have access to meaningful, safe, and joyful learning experiences during the summer months.
