Education Minister approves high school results, commends students and national efforts

The occasion is a moment of shared pride for families and schools as the nation celebrates the achievements of Kuwaiti youth

Minister of Education Dr. Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabaei has approved the results of the 2024/2025 General Secondary Certificate Examinations for 12th-grade students across the science, arts, and religious education disciplines.

He congratulated the top-performing students and their families, acknowledging their dedication and hard work throughout the academic year.

In a televised address on Kuwait State TV, Minister Al-Tabtabaei praised the collaborative efforts of all government and public institutions, and committees that ensured the successful administration of the exams. He noted that a safe and well-organized environment was secured to support the performance of the students.

The Minister added the overall pass percentage was encouraging, saying the students secured 86.66% in the science section, 77.49% in the arts and 80.74% in the religious section. A total of 33,874 students passed, including 53 who achieved a perfect score in the science stream.

Al-Tabtabaei emphasized that the results reflect not only the determination of the students but also the Ministry’s commitment to supporting their success. He described the occasion as a moment of shared pride among families, schools, and the nation, celebrating the achievements of Kuwait’s youth.

Expressing deep appreciation, the Minister thanked His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah for their unwavering support to the educational sector.

He also extended his gratitude to His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah for his follow-up during the examination period, which contributed significantly to discipline and organization.

Special thanks, the minister said, also goes to the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef for mobilizing Ministry of Interior resources to maintain a fair and secure environment during the exams.

Al-Tabtabaei acknowledged the collective responsibility shared by Cabinet members, whose cooperation enabled the Ministry to fulfill its mission during the academic year.

He concluded with a pledge of continued dedication and integrity, affirming the Ministry’s resolve to work in alignment with the leadership’s vision to build a brighter educational future and strengthen Kuwait’s standing on the global stage.
