Religious rituals must be observed with order and responsibility: Al-Yousef

As part of his oversight of security and organizational preparations for the month of Muharram, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef conducted a field tour, visiting several Hussainiyas and mourning councils.

During the tour, Sheikh Fahd was briefed on the readiness of security plans to ensure the safe and orderly conduct of rituals.

He also reviewed traffic regulation measures aimed at ensuring smooth vehicle flow in surrounding areas, and received detailed explanations on emergency plans in coordination with the General Fire Force and Emergency Medical Services, reports Al-Rai daily.

He praised the dedication of security personnel for their ongoing efforts to protect lives and property, and commended the positive cooperation of Hussainiyas officials in adhering to safety directives—contributing to the smooth and respectful observance of rituals.

Sheikh Fahd also visited National Guard posts tasked with securing the mourning gatherings and assessed the coordination between the National Guard and Ministry of Interior in implementing joint security strategies. He expressed appreciation for the National Guard’s preparedness and their significant role in reinforcing public safety.

Concluding the tour, he voiced confidence in the collective cooperation of all parties, urging continued commitment to regulations governing religious gatherings—emphasizing that such adherence reflects responsibility and ensures the safety and security of all.
