Commerce Ministry extends working hours for food supply branches
Branches will remain open daily throughout the week from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m
In a move aimed at enhancing service accessibility and ensuring food security, Kuwait’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry has announced the full operation of all food supply branches across the country’s governorates.
Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, these branches will be open daily throughout the week from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., allowing beneficiaries of ration cards to collect their monthly food supplies with greater convenience, reports Al-Rai daily.
The ministry confirmed that this decision will remain in effect until further notice and is part of ongoing efforts to streamline distribution processes and better serve citizens and residents.
The extension of operating hours is expected to reduce overcrowding and waiting times, while ensuring that all eligible individuals have ample time to access their entitlements.
