Director-General of the General Administration of Customs, Fatima Al-Qallaf, conducted an inspection tour of the Airport Customs Department and the Air Cargo Customs Department, as part of efforts to monitor operational progress and evaluate procedures related to passenger processing and the handling of air cargo shipments.
In a statement, the General Administration of Customs said the visit was to assess the efficiency of customs operations, including the entry and exit of goods and passengers at the Kuwait International Airport, reports Al-Rai daily.
Al-Qallaf commended customs officers for their dedication in facilitating procedures and ensuring the accurate and efficient implementation of regulations, enabling the smooth flow of goods while maintaining stringent security and control measures.
She emphasized the importance of continuously enhancing performance and improving service quality, reaffirming Customs’ commitment to effective oversight across all border points.
Al-Qallaf also underscored the need to provide ongoing support and resources to personnel to ensure the highest standards of preparedness and operational readiness.
