The Kuwaiti Embassy in the United States has issued a safety advisory to all Kuwaiti nationals residing in the state of California — particularly in Los Angeles and its surrounding areas — to exercise extreme caution and to stay away from areas where demonstrations and protests are currently taking place.

In an official statement released Monday, the embassy emphasized the importance of adhering to safety instructions and guidance provided by local U.S. authorities in order to avoid potential risks associated with civil unrest, reports Al-Rai daily.

The embassy also reminded citizens of the importance of staying informed and maintaining communication with official diplomatic missions in case of emergencies.

It provided the following contact numbers for immediate assistance:

  • Embassy in Washington, D.C.: +1 (202) 262-0758
  • Consulate General in Los Angeles: +1 (310) 279-3644
  • Consulate General in New York: +1 (917) 242-6688
  • Cultural Office in Los Angeles: +1 (310) 746-4789

Citizens are encouraged to reach out to these offices if they require support or find themselves in urgent situations, as the embassy continues to monitor developments closely to ensure the safety and well-being of Kuwaiti nationals in the U.S.
