Power outage hits Abdali farms area due to transmission line failure

The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy announced power outage in parts of the Abdali Farms area following a sudden technical malfunction in one of the overhead transmission lines connected to the Abdali A main transformer station.

In an official statement, the Ministry explained that the disruption was caused by a fault that led to the complete shutdown of one of the key overhead lines, which plays a critical role in distributing electricity to the surrounding agricultural and residential zones, reports Al-Jarida daily.

Immediately after the failure was detected, the Ministry’s emergency response teams were dispatched to the site to assess the situation and begin restoration efforts.

The Ministry emphasized that engineers and technicians are working tirelessly to diagnose the root cause of the failure and implement necessary repairs to restore electricity as swiftly and safely as possible.
