DGCA chief meets Belgian envoy to enhance air transport cooperation

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Chairman Sheikh Hamoud Mubarak Hamoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, met with Belgian Ambassador to Kuwait, Christian Dooms, to explore avenues for strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of civil aviation.
According to a statement from the DGCA, the meeting — held Tuesday evening — focused on developing mechanisms to enhance air transport between Kuwait and Belgium. Discussions included efforts to attract more airlines and prioritize the facilitation of direct cargo traffic between the two countries, reports KUNA.
The two sides also underscored the importance of exchanging expertise and training in areas such as aviation security, safety, and air navigation. These collaborative efforts aim to boost operational efficiency and support the development of a more robust and modern air transport system.
