Justice Ministry launches remote travel ban service via Sahel App

The Ministry of Justice has officially activated a remote travel ban service through the “Sahel” application and the ministry’s website, effective from Wednesday, May 14, 2025. This new service allows creditors, who have obtained a court ruling to request a travel ban on debtors electronically, without incurring any fees.

In an official letter addressed to the head of the Directorate-General of Enforcement, the Ministry stated, “We are pleased to inform you that the travel ban service has been activated on the Ministry of Justice’s website and via the Sahel application free of charge starting from Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

“This is in accordance with the procedure document sent by the Undersecretary of the Ministry, approving it according to letter No. (106386_17_2025_M) dated May 14, 2025. Therefore, we kindly ask you to take the necessary measures in this regard,” reports Al-Jarida daily.

This initiative is part of the Ministry’s efforts to streamline judicial procedures and enhance accessibility to legal services.

By leveraging digital platforms like the Sahel App, the Ministry aims to facilitate the enforcement of court decisions efficiently and transparently.
