Abdullah Al Salem University showcases modern specializations aligned with Kuwait Vision 2035

Abdullah Al Salem University launched its awareness campaign on Monday under the title “Your Academic and Professional Future Begins at Abdullah Al Salem University,” aimed at introducing its academic colleges, specialized programs, and the requirements and procedures for admission. The campaign is being held at The Avenues Mall and will continue until Friday.

Speaking at the launch event, Dr. Adel Al-Hussainan, Secretary of the University’s Founding Board, stated that the campaign is part of the university’s continued efforts to engage directly with the public. It reflects the university’s commitment to promoting its academic offerings and to guiding high school and foreign high school graduates, as well as their families, in making informed decisions about higher education and career planning, reports Al-Rai daily.

Dr. Al-Hussainan highlighted that this marks the third consecutive year the university has set up an information booth at The Avenues Mall. The aim is to provide prospective students with clear insight into the university’s academic specializations and assist them in selecting fields of study that align with current labor market demands.

He announced that the university will begin accepting admission applications from July 7 to July 17, 2025, for students expected to graduate this academic year, as well as graduates from the previous year.

Abdullah Al Salem University stands out for its modern and forward-looking academic programs, which support the state’s efforts toward economic diversification and align with the “New Kuwait 2035” development vision.

The university offers specialized degrees in emerging fields such as cybersecurity engineering, agricultural engineering, environmental resources, and environmental engineering.

These programs fall under its engineering colleges and are internationally accredited by ABET, the leading accreditation body for engineering and technology education.
