President of Lebanon arrives in Kuwait for official visit amid local developments

This afternoon, Kuwait welcomed Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun, who arrived on an official visit accompanied by a senior delegation. Upon his arrival at Kuwait International Airport, President Aoun was warmly received by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
A distinguished group of state leaders was also present to greet the visiting president, including Chief of the National Guard Sheikh Mubarak Al-Humoud, Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Mohammed Al-Abdullah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sharida Al-Muasherji, Acting Minister of Defense and Interior Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya, and other senior officials, reports Al-Rai daily.
The Amiri Diwan designated a special honorary mission to accompany the Lebanese delegation, headed by Advisor to the Amiri Diwan, Mohammed Abdullah Abu Al-Hassan.
President Aoun’s official entourage includes Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Youssef Raji, along with high-ranking Lebanese government officials.
