Kuwaiti gets death sentence for burying driver behind scrap yard

The case was cracked by the Criminal Security Sector, represented by the Jahra Governorate Investigations Department, after a report was received about a man discarding blood-stained clothes in a trash bin.

The Criminal Court has sentenced a Kuwaiti citizen to death for the premeditated murder of his house driver, whose body was found buried in the desert behind the Umm Al-Ghara scrap yard in Saad Al-Abdullah, reported Arabic daily Al Rai.

The case was cracked by the Criminal Security Sector, represented by the Jahra Governorate Investigations Department, after a report was received about a man discarding blood-stained clothes in a trash bin.

Following an intensive investigation, surveillance footage identified a vehicle whose driver was seen dumping the clothes. Authorities traced the vehicle’s route and discovered bloodstains inside.

The suspect was promptly arrested and, during interrogation, confessed to killing the victim and disposing of the body in a remote desert area. He then led investigators to the burial site, confirming the identity of the victim as his house driver.

A criminal case for premeditated murder was registered against the suspect in Saad Al-Abdullah, and he was referred to the competent authorities.
