Ambassador Highlights the Benefits of Online Voting
His Excellency Jose A. Cabrera III, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Kuwait, emphasized the convenience of online voting, particularly for Filipinos with demanding work schedules or those living far from the Embassy or consular offices.
“Voters can enroll and cast their ballots anytime, day or night, using a smartphone or laptop with internet access,” Ambassador Cabrera said. “If they encounter any difficulties during enrollment or voting, they are encouraged to call or visit the Embassy for assistance.”
The Ambassador reminded voters that while the voting period ends on May 12, the enrollment process closes earlier, on May 7.
“I urge all registered Filipino overseas voters in Kuwait to exercise their right to vote and take part in shaping the future of our country,” he stated.
Sharing his personal experience, Ambassador Cabrera added, “I used my mobile phone to vote, and I feel privileged to have experienced firsthand the innovation, convenience, and ease that online voting offers.”
