Abu Futaira roadworks to continue under fresh contracts, says minister

In a statement on Monday, Al-Mashaan emphasized the ministry’s dedication to meeting international quality standards in project execution. She highlighted that road development plays a crucial role in boosting the economy, enhancing quality of life, and supporting the ‘New Kuwait 2035’ vision for sustainable development. She noted that infrastructure is essential to a country’s progress, driving the ministry’s comprehensive approach to both economic and urban development in Kuwait.

For her part, Engineer Noura Al-Mutairi, Contract Supervisor 18, Second Zone, Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate, stated in a similar statement that the ministry’s teams are currently present in the Abu Futairaarea, Block 8. She explained that after completing the field and treatment work, a layer of Type 3 will be applied.

Al-Mutairi also noted that field and treatment work are ongoing in Block 6 of the Abu Futaira area in preparation for asphalt paving. The project will then proceed to Block 7 to continue the maintenance work.
