MOH launches 11 cutting-edge training drive for clinical excellence

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, announced the launch of 11 training programs for nursing staff, running from April to November this year to strengthen the clinical skills and enhance the professional competence of nurses, ultimately improving the overall quality of healthcare services in Kuwait.
Dr. Al-Sanad emphasized that investing in human capital is the cornerstone of the Ministry’s strategy, highlighting the crucial role nursing staff play in delivering comprehensive, safe, and effective care across all levels of the healthcare system, according to Al-Anba daily.
He noted that these programs are part of the Ministry’s continuous efforts to train nurses from hospitals and primary healthcare centers across Kuwait in line with the latest scientific and clinical standards, in collaboration with the esteemed local and international institutions and universities.
Meanwhile, Dr. Iman Al-Awadhi, Director of the Nursing Services Department, explained that the programs developed in partnership with regional healthcare institutions and leading international universities include a wide range of specialties including emergency care, mental health, maternal health, cardiac care, dialysis, and nursing leadership and management.
