Kuwait Airport resumes operations after flight disruptions

Kuwait Airport resumed operations after a hole in the runway was fixed and waterlogging was cleared.

The airport had been temporarily closed on Saturday due to technical issues, halting all departures and diverting incoming flights to nearby airports, including those in Saudi Arabia, to ensure passenger safety and operational continuity, Al Rai newspaper reported.

According to Flight Radar, flights were earlier diverted to neighboring airports before reaching Kuwait Airport.
