Tunisian ambassador hails Kuwait as a hub for culture and creativity

Ambassador Boudali also noted Kuwait’s ongoing efforts to strengthen intellectual and creative ties with Tunisia since the 1960s, as reported by Al Rai newspaper.

Ambassador Boudali added, on the sidelines of the music event held by the Tunisian Embassy at the Islamic Antiquities House, in the presence of several ambassadors, diplomats, and citizens, and presented by Tunisian artist Mohamed Omrani, that this cultural event aligns with the momentum of the strong relations between Tunisia and Kuwait. It also contributes to strengthening the cultural ties between the two brotherly nations, especially as Kuwait will serve as the Arab Capital of Media and Culture throughout the current year, in recognition of its significant achievements in these vital fields.

The Tunisian ambassador stressed that this event carries several meanings, including the fact that its timing is significant, coinciding with Kuwait’s national holidays, and serves as a heartfelt message of sincere congratulations and best wishes on this glorious occasion.

He also noted that the momentum between the two countries continues through participation in book fairs, as well as the recent agreement to organize a Tunisian Cultural Week in Kuwait this year, with plans for a Kuwaiti Cultural Week in Tunisia in 2026.

Ambassador Boudali thanked the Islamic Antiquities House for its excellent cooperation with the embassy in organizing this presentation, emphasizing the role of cultural diplomacy as a key tool for fostering cooperation among nations.

He pointed out that the concert offers a youthful and refreshing musical touch, featuring a selection of unique and diverse songs. Tunisian artist Mohamed Omrani aims to spotlight the richness and renewal of Tunisia’s musical heritage.
