Philippines Department of Migrant Workers marks 3rd anniversary

The Migrant Workers Office in Kuwait commenced Monday morning its four days celebration marking the department’s third anniversary. Filipinos who came to process their documents were treated to complimentary snacks and prizes.

The event kicked off with a thanksgiving mass and blessing of the premises. Mrs. Cathy Duladul, Assistant Labor Attache delivered a brief welcome remarks and essential information about the Department of Migrant Workers, its functions and services. Prizes were given to winners who provided correct answers to the questions about the department. While their documents are being processed, Filipinos were treated to baked products from Masterclass Lifestyle Culinary Workshops, packed lunches from Pares and Mami, sweets desserts from Casa Cusina, medical services from Golden Eagles Club at Kuwait Golden Lady Eagles Club and Ice Cream from courtesy of a sponsor. MWO served coffee, juices and snack pastries. Filipinos were thankful for the complimentary snacks. The anniversary celebration will lasts till Thursday.

The MWO wish to thank the Philippine Ambassador to Kuwait His Excellency Jose Cabrera III and DMW Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac and to the officers in Kuwait for their commitment to assist Overseas Filipino Workers.
