Powerful 5.7 earthquake hits western Iran, shakes Kuwait

Germany’s Earth Science Research Center reported that a 5.7-magnitude earthquake struck western Iran on Thursday, with tremors felt in Kuwait. The quake occurred at a depth of ten kilometers, according to the center, as reported by Al Rai newspaper.
