Commander of Task Force: Kuwait prepared with all security measures for 45th Gulf Summit
The Commander of the Gulf Task Force of the National Guard, Brigadier General Saad Mubarak, stated that the force has completed all preparations to secure the delegations for the 45th Summit of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which will be held tomorrow, 1 December, in the State of Kuwait.
Brigadier Mubarak, in a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), added that following the Council of Ministers decision to assign the National Guard to secure the Supreme Council Summit, the National Guard Command issued instructions to designate a duty commander. This commander was tasked with preparing and equipping the mission in advance to ensure its success and to present the State of Kuwait in the most magnificent image befitting its status.
Moreover, Brigadier Mubarak pointed out that the duty force has completed a detailed plan to secure the hotel complex, provide protection for all delegations participating in the summit, and ensure an honorable appearance before the Gulf countries’ representatives in their second homeland.
For his part, the Assistant Commander of the National Guard’s Task Force (Khaleej), Colonel Matar Badr, stated that the National Guard is maintaining control over the areas assigned to them near the hotels, facilitating the entry and exit of delegations, and installing inspection devices for individuals, luggage, and equipments.
Colonel Badr stressed the Task Force’s commitment and readiness to secure the area throughout the days of accompanying hosts of the delegations, ensuring order, addressing any gaps, and preventing any acts of sabotage.
Importantly, Colonel Badr highlighted that the members of the National Guard are equipped with the latest devices and equipment, which play a crucial role in the security plan. He pointed out that these include advanced individual surveillance cameras, advanced individual equipment, communication tools, and modern inspection devices.
Colonel Badr pointed out that the Task Force has participated in numerous security and community conferences and events, which have provided them with the necessary experience to effectively secure the upcoming 45th Gulf Summit.
