Local banks to remain shut on 1 December due to Gulf Summit

The Kuwait Banking Association (KBA) announced today, Monday that local banks will suspend operations on Sunday, 1 December 2024, to observe a day of rest on the occasion of the 45th session of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit, which will be hosted in Kuwait.

In a press statement, KBA mentioned that decision to suspend banking operations on 1 December, was made in coordination with the Central Bank of Kuwait.

On the other hand, normal banking operations will resume work on Monday, 2 December 2024.
