“Kuwait committed towards humanitarian responsibility” stated Farwaniya Governor while inspecting expatriate workers’ shelter
The Farwaniya Governor, H. E. Sheikh Athbi Al-Nasser, praised the efforts of the workers at the expatriate workers shelter, noting that their great humanitarian efforts reflect; “Kuwait’s commitment towards its humanitarian responsibility”.
Al-Nasser, this morning inspected the expatriate workers’ shelter in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh. During this inspection tour, the Governor was received by the Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Manpower, Marzouq Al-Otaibi; Director of Public Relations and Media, Mohammed Al-Muzaini; Director of Labor Relations, Fattouh Al-Ansari and; Head of the Shelter, Mohammed Raja.
Reflecting on Kuwait’s humanitarian efforts, Al-Nasser pointed out the importance of human rights associations and public benefit associations, which have offices inside the center, and their role in enhancing humanitarian services.
Al-Nasser, emphatically stressed upon the fact that Kuwait’s reputation as a center for humanitarian work, requires continued cooperation between the concerned parties, meant to improve the level of services and care provided to expatriate workers.
Moreover, during the tour, Governor Al-Nasser was briefed about the various procedures involved in receiving expatriate workers, and providing them with their basic needs.
