Kuwait set to increase citizen participation in private sector
Dr. Issam Al-Rubaiaan, head of the Civil Service Commission, announced that the bureau is coordinating with relevant authorities to prepare a study identifying suitable job titles for Kuwaitis in various private sectors and setting target percentages for Emiratization.

Dr. Issam Al-Rubaiaan, head of the Civil Service Commission, has been actively working to complete a comprehensive study that identifies job titles available for Kuwaiti citizens in the private sector.
Sources indicate that significant progress has been made on this study, which aims to boost the participation of national talent in the private sector as part of a strategic plan to develop the government apparatus, according to Al Anba newspaper.
She pointed out that the bureau is working in coordination with relevant authorities to prepare a detailed study identifying appropriate job titles for Kuwaitis across various sectors of the private industry, as well as setting target percentages for Emiratization in those sectors.
Regarding the increase in current ratios, she explained that the Civil Service Commission’s mandate requires the private sector to adhere to specific proportions of national employment.
Sources added that the focus is on four main areas: hospitality, tourism, cooperatives, and special education schools. She emphasized that the study will also include a plan to increase the employment rate of national talent over the next ten years.
It is noteworthy that the Civil Service Commission commissioned the bureau to prepare this study on June 13.
