Makshat 3 project official opening this November, says ministry

The project includes 60 designated family areas and plans to host entertainment events during public holidays, ensuring an enjoyable experience for everyone.

The Makshat 3 project includes enhancements such as over thirty restaurants and cafes, an expanded popular café, and additional public facilities to better serve citizens, residents, and visitors.

Large screens will be installed in a dedicated space, allowing citizens, residents, and visitors to watch the Gulf Cup events and matches, reflecting the commitment to enhancing services for patrons.

 

Dr. Khaled Al-Ajmi, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs, announced that the Makshat 3 project will officially open in early November. This initiative aligns with the National Cooperative Projects Committee’s strategy, in collaboration with the Union of Cooperative Societies, to enhance services for citizens, residents, and visitors while advancing innovation and development in national projects, as reported by Al Rai newspaper.

Al-Ajmi stated that the Makshat 3 project features numerous enhancements compared to previous versions, increasing the number of restaurants and cafes to over 30, expanding the popular café, and adding more public facilities to meet the needs of citizens, residents, and visitors.

He mentioned that the project includes 60 designated family areas and plans to host entertainment events during public holidays, ensuring an enjoyable experience for everyone.

Additionally, large screens will be installed in a dedicated space, allowing citizens, residents, and visitors to watch the Gulf Cup events and matches, reflecting the commitment to enhancing services for patrons.

Al-Ajmi also noted that the project will feature a children’s play area and a mini zoo, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for families to take commemorative photos.

Al-Ajmi explained that admission is free for children up to the age of four and for individuals with special needs, while the entrance fees will be symbolic and accessible to all segments of society. He also noted that working hours during weekdays will be from 3 PM to 11 PM, while on weekends, the events will be extended until midnight.

Regarding reservations, Al-Ajmi emphasized that bookings will be made electronically through the Al-Makshat website, which will be launched soon, and via the “Eventat” application to facilitate access for citizens, residents, and visitors and to organize the entry process. He pointed out that the project is one of the initiatives of the National Cooperative Projects Committee.

Al-Ajmi stated, Al-Makshat 3, in its new format, offers an integrated entertainment and service experience that meets the aspirations of citizens, residents, and visitors,” stressing that this project reflects the ministry’s vision of providing innovative services that cater to various segments of society.

He expressed his gratitude to Dr. Hadi Haif Al-Huwayla, Minister of Social Affairs, Labor, Family Affairs and Children and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, for her continuous support of national projects and her commitment to developing social services.

He added that Al-Makshat 3 embodies an important strategy in collaboration with the Union of Cooperative Associations, headed by Musab Al-Mulla, under the umbrella of the National Cooperative Projects Committee, to provide an integrated entertainment environment that serves all members of society and aligns with their aspirations.
