“Affairs Ministry” detects 5 impersonation cases in Jaber Al-Ahmad Cooperative elections

Al-Jarida learned that the Ministry of Social Affairs, represented by the Department of Membership Affairs and Advertising of Cooperative Societies, detected 5 cases of impersonation during the elections of the Board of Directors of Jaber Al-Ahmad Cooperative Society, which were held today.

According to the Ministry of Social Affairs sources, the Ministry referred these five impersonators to the competent authorities; for necessary legal action against them, stressing that there is strictness regarding any illegal voting process.

To cite elaborately, the exploitation of civil cards “identities” of citizens traveling outside the country, and trying to use them incorrectly to vote in the elections, by activating the electronic link with the relevant government agencies.

Regarding success in these elections, the sources confirmed that the elections went smoothly and without any significant problems affecting them.
