“Applied” issues decision to form committee for faculty members’ promotions
Dr. Hassan Al-Fajjam, Director General of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, issued a decision to form a committee for the promotions of faculty members for the academic year “2024-2025”, which will be headed by Dr. Salwa Jawhar, a faculty member at the College of Basic Education.
A copy was obtained by Al-Qabas, which indicated about the decision taken regarding the committee’s membership that consists of: Dr. Saadoun Al-Azmi, Professor of the College of Health Sciences; Dr. Adnan Al-Ali, Professor of the College of Business Studies; Dr. Talal Al-Zanki, Professor of the College of Technological Studies; and Dr. Ahmed Al-Saeedi, Professor of the College of Basic Education.
Regarding roles and functioning of the members, it was notified that the committee shall meet and undertake tasks mentioned in that special decision regarding the system of promotions for faculty members in the Authority’s colleges; starting from the second semester of 2024-2025; provided that its meetings are held during official working hours.
On the other hand, Muhammad Al-Hayyan, Deputy Director of the Authority for Applied Education and Research at the “Applied” issued a decision to form the approval of the Promotions Committee at the College of Basic Education for the academic year, 2024-2025.
This committee will be headed by Dr. Suad Al-Bishr, and the members of each of Dr. Amal Al-Adwani, Dr. Awad Al-Harbi, Dr. Muhammad Al-Ajmi, and Dr. Haifa Al-Youssef.
Moreover, the committee will meet during official working hours and will exercise its powers in the college’s promotions system, starting from the second semester of 2024-2025.
