Farwaniya authorities arrest 21 street vendors, residency violators and wanted persons

Mansour Al-Sultan, The Farwaniya Security Directorate launched a security campaign last night against violators of the residency and labor law and street vendors in Farwaniya Governorate.

During this campaign, 12 street vendors of several nationalities who violated the labor law were arrested and referred to the Deportation Department.

This was in addition to arresting 5 expatriates who violated the residency law and 4 expatriates that were wanted by several security agencies.

Brigadier Saleh Aqla Al-Azmi, General of Farwaniya Security, supervised this security campaign, which began by setting up checkpoints in the areas of Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, Al-Ardiya Industrial Area and Al-Firdous, where street vendors who violated the labor law were monitored, followed up, arrested and referred to the Deportation Department.

This campaign is part of several security campaigns that are regularly carried out by the Farwaniya Directorate against violators and wanted persons.
