“The Future Eye Theater” and “Future Eye Film Club” will be hosting a unique acting workshop titled “The Thespian Alchemy”.
The workshop will be conducted by renowned dancer and film star, Dr. Methil Devika. This immersive workshop will take place on October 25 and 26, from 9 AM to 5 PM, at the Salmia Dolphin Continental Hotel.
Participants will benefit from Dr. Devika’s expertise in expressive physical movements, gestural and verbal performance techniques, and the use of mudras and eye expressions in acting.
Moreover, this acting workshop will also delve into the practical aspects of Indian classical theater, alongside modern theater practices.
Importantly, joining Dr. Devika will be, Shrirag Marar and Srinath Marar from the Keli Vadya Kala Peeth, Kuwait, who will enrich the workshop with their live percussion accompaniment.
The Future Eye officials have emphasized that the workshop is open to men, women and children who are interested in acting and dancing.
