Public Prosecution refers Football Association defendants to Criminal Court
It was learned from an informed source that the Public Prosecution referred the Football Association case, in which the President of the Association, his Deputy and the Secretary-General are accused, to the Criminal Court.
Public Prosecution has demanded that the accused be punished on state security charges for making statements that could harm relations with friendly countries, in addition to the events of the poorly organized Kuwait-Iraq, as reported by Al Qabas.
The source confirmed that the Criminal Court has set the first session for their trial on October 6. The Public Prosecution had previously issued its decision to detain the accused for 21 days and refer them to the central prison, pending the case.
