Make time for fitness even in your hectic schedule
Being fit and healthy has nothing to do with age or gender; individuals can choose to embrace the principles of healthy living and reap the benefits or do the opposite, said Mohammed Faham, project engineer and commercial and kitchen designer.

• When the younger generation receives proper guidance on healthy living, they grow up to make these routines habitual and an essential part of their daily lives.
“In today’s hectic schedules, many individuals struggle to find time for their well-being through exercise and healthy eating, often leading to unexpected health issues like diabetes, high blood pressure, and elevated uric acid levels, frequently linked to obesity and a sedentary lifestyle,” stated Mohammed Faham, project engineer and commercial and kitchen designer.
Faham further explained that being fit and healthy has nothing to do with age or gender; individuals can choose to embrace the principles of healthy living and reap the benefits or do the opposite. When the younger generation receives proper guidance on healthy living, they grow up to make these routines habitual and an essential part of their daily lives.
Faham mentioned that he began working out at the age of sixteen; however, it was short-lived due to a lack of appropriate guidance from licensed or experienced trainers. He suffered several injuries from improper execution of routines and other issues. After some time, Faham returned to his workout regimen, ensuring that safety was a primary concern.
“I work out six days a week and run outdoors, engaging in a healthy and active lifestyle powered by discipline and determination. It was not easy at first, but eventually, the whole process became part of my daily routine,” Fahamadded.
Due to daily food intake lacking essential components necessary for the body to reach its full potential, it is vital to incorporate vitamins and quality supplements. “For individuals engaged in bodybuilding and weight loss, daily food intake may not be sufficient to achieve their goals; thus, supplements available in health stores are recommended. However, prior to taking any supplements, one must consult medical professionals and personal trainers regarding the limitations and possible effects of the products,” commented Rijish Joseph, coach and personal trainer at Future Body Gym in Salmiyah.
In a brief message to those struggling to find time for self-care, Faham urged everyone to prioritize fitness amid their busy schedules. “Being healthy entails emotional, physical, and mental balance. To achieve this goal, discipline, determination, and dedication should be integral components, regardless of whether you are male or female, young or old. Affordability should not be an issue when it comes to joining a gym or fitness center, as there are countless ways to achieve fitness and health,” concluded Faham.
