“Kuwait holds a special place in the hearts of the Saudi people”

H.H. Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khaled Al Saud, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Kuwait, commended the deep historical ties between the two countries and expressed his gratitude to the leadership and people of Kuwait for celebrating and participating in their National Day anniversary.

Ambassadors of various countries highlighted the ongoing efforts of Saudi Arabia to strengthen Gulf solidarity and promote security and peace, noting that Saudi National Day is a joyful occasion for all Gulf nations.

Diplomats and ambassadors acknowledged Saudi Arabias leading role regionally and internationally, praising its remarkable achievements across various fields.

 

During the celebration of the Kingdom’s National Day at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center, H.H. Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khaled Al Saud, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Kuwait, praised the strong historical ties between the two countries. He emphasized that Kuwait holds a special place in the hearts of the Saudi people, according to Al Qabas newspaper.

The event was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, along with Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Interior, as well as several ministers, senior state officials, and heads of diplomatic missions.

The Saudi ambassador recalled the founding efforts of King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud to unify the Kingdom, which began in Kuwait. He expressed gratitude to the leadership and people of Kuwait for celebrating and participating in the anniversary of its National Day, extending heartfelt congratulations and blessings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, and the Saudi people on this occasion.

In turn, diplomats and ambassadors acknowledged Saudi Arabia’s leading role regionally and internationally, praising its remarkable achievements across various fields.

Saudi Arabia’s development praised

His Excellency Dr. Zubaydullo Zubaydov, the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Tajikistan to Kuwait, emphasized the importance of the Kingdom’s role in the Islamic world and the region. He praised the level of development witnessed by the Kingdom under the wise leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the insightful vision of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Saudi Arabia’s National Day is a moment of Gulf joy

In turn, His Excellency Dr. Matar Al-Nayadi, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Kuwait, congratulated Saudi Arabia, describing it as a precious occasion for all Gulf countries and a moment of Gulf joy.

His Excellency Dr. Saleh bin Amer Al-Kharousi, the Omani Ambassador to Kuwait, stated, “We share in the celebrations of the Kingdom, and this happy day is a celebration for the Omanis and all the peoples of the GCC countries.”

He pointed out that the rapid development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a result of rational leadership that is aware of the scale of the challenges and ambitions ahead.

He stressed that everyone can see the development in the Kingdom firsthand, noting that all GCC countries are progressing on the path of cooperation and integration.

“Saudi-Bahraini ties serve as a role model”

His Excellency Salah Ali Hasan Hilal Al-Malki, the Bahraini Ambassador to Kuwait, extended his warmest congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on the occasion of the National Day celebration of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He stressed that Saudi-Bahraini relations are well-established, deeply rooted, and serve as a role model.

In turn, His Excellency Al-Manhal Hussain Al-Safi, the Iraqi Ambassador to Kuwait, wished for “the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to thrive and progress,” adding that “there are many plans to build bridges and deepen relations in various economic, cultural, and tourism fields.”

As for His Excellency Vladimir Geltov, the Russian Ambassador to Kuwait, he stated, “There are good relations between Russia and Saudi Arabia that date back many decades, and despite the current circumstances in the region, our relationship with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia remains very strong. We welcome and encourage these relations to serve the interests of our two friendly countries.”

Ali Ibn Issa, the Moroccan Ambassador, His Excellency Sinan Al-Majali, the Jordanian Ambassador, and His Excellency Dr. Adarsh Swaika, the Indian Ambassador, discussed the strong bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and their respective countries, emphasizing strategic cooperation in all fields.

Ahmed Arafa, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Lebanese Embassy, congratulated the leadership and people of Saudi Arabia, wishing the Kingdom continued prosperity and success for its people under wise leadership.

He emphasized the Kingdom’s significant role throughout Lebanon’s contemporary history, particularly in the TaifAgreement, which ended fifteen years of bloody conflict. Arafa added, “Regarding Lebanon’s current challenges, we hope that the Kingdom and other Arab countries will play a role similar to that of the Kingdom in the 1980s.”

H.E. Karen Sasahara, the US Ambassador to Kuwait, congratulated Saudi Arabia, noting that her first diplomatic mission was in the Kingdom, specifically in Jeddah, and that Saudi Arabia holds a special place in her heart.

The ambassador also praised the meetings held by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah in New York, emphasizing that these meetings are among the most important multilateral gatherings this year, where various leaders convened, and His Highness held several discussions with heads and representatives of different countries.

Saudi Arabia is China’s largest trading partner in the Gulf region, says Chinese ambassador

H.E. Zhang Jianwei, the Chinese Ambassador to Kuwait, highlighted the unique position Saudi Arabia occupies in the region, noting its important and pivotal role in fostering international Islamic solidarity. This solidarity contributes to strengthening developmental relations between Islamic and Arab countries and supports their unity in facing the challenges and difficulties present in the Middle East.

He pointed out that the Kingdom is China’s largest trading partner in the Gulf region, as well as its strategic partner in the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative, the famous New Silk Road.
