Al-Shamali holds discussions with Indian MoS External Affairs

Kuwait’s Ambassador to India, Mishal Al-Shamali, held important discussions with the Indian Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh in New Delhi on Tuesday, on ways to enhance relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Al-Shamali said in a statement to KUNA that his meeting with the Indian Foreign Minister in New Delhi focused on reviewing the existing bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance and develop them across different synergies. Several topics of mutual interest were also under discussion.

The two sides appreciated the efforts made to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the economic, commercial and cultural fields. The Indian Minister also expressed his country’s gratitude to the government, leaders and people of the State of Kuwait for all that they provide to the Indian community residing there.

Ambassador Al-Shamali praised the strong bilateral relations that are embedded in history and are characterized by constructive cooperation at all levels, stating that mutual respect and understanding have been the hallmarks of this relationship.
