Ministry arrest 434 for residence, work law violations in one week

The Ministry of Interior announced that, as part of intensified security efforts to apprehend violators of residency and labor laws—especially those who did not take advantage of the granted deadline—the General Directorate of Residency Investigations conducted surprise security operations.
These campaigns led to the arrest of 434 individuals from various nationalities, who have been referred to the appropriate authorities for legal action in preparation for their departure from the country, according to Al Rai newspaper.
The ministry stressed that security campaigns are ongoing across the country to apprehend violators of residence and labor laws. This effort reflects the ministry’s commitment to enforcing the law.
