Indian PM Modi meets with Crown Prince of Kuwait

The two leaders expressed satisfaction with their cooperation on energy and food security and reaffirmed their commitment to further deepen and diversify their partnership.

The meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modiand Kuwait’s Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, is expected to inject fresh momentum into India-Kuwait relations.

India and Kuwait discuss ways to boost cooperation in key areas such as pharmaceuticals, food processing, technology, energy, and more.

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held his first meeting with Kuwaits Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, on the sidelines of the 79th UNGA session in New York, according to Indias Ministry of External Affairs.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modiemphasized Indias deep commitment to its bilateral relations with Kuwait. Both leaders reflected on the strong historical ties and close people-to-people connections between the nations.

They expressed satisfaction with their cooperation on energy and food security and reaffirmed their commitment to further deepen and diversify their partnership.

The Indian PM also thanked the Kuwait Crown Prince for ensuring the well-being of the Indian community in Kuwait, the largest diaspora group in the country.

The meeting between the two leaders is expected to inject fresh momentum into India-Kuwait relations.

The discussions with His Highness Sheikh Sabah KhaledAl-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah were highly productive, focusing on boosting cooperation in key areas such as pharmaceuticals, food processing, technology, energy, and more.
