KYPA opens registration for program in Insurance

The Kuwait Youth Public Authority (KYPA) announced the opening of registration for the training and qualification program specific to insurance for new graduates. This comes within the “Work Makers” project in its first season, to ensure a large participation.

The Acting Deputy Director General of the Authority for Youth Development Sector, Dr. Musaed Al-Kuraibani, said in a press statement that the program will provide the participating youth the necessary knowledge and skills in the basics of insurance science.

He added that the program works to empower trainees professionally and technically, under the supervision of experts in this significant field, to facilitate their integration into the labor market, as reported by Al Anba.

The program targets young Kuwaiti men and women in the age range 20 to 34 years old, who are new graduates in the fields of insurance, accounting, statistics, mathematics and engineering, in addition to those working in the field of customer service. All successful students who pass the program will obtain accredited certificates.

He stated that the Authority is keen to organize its professional programs and projects to help the youth achieve its aspirations by providing distinguished career paths, indicating that the “Work Makers” project includes several programs, including facilities management, lawyer’s assistantship, programming, engineering contracts management, among others.

He called on the youth wishing to join the program to register via the Authority’s website www.youth.gov.kw, post which the program’s organizers will conduct personal interviews with the applicants to determine the final list of those accepted into the program.
