Civil Service Bureau warns against payments outside ‘integrated systems’

The bureau noted that some agencies are making rewards and payments outside the integrated systems to individuals not employed by the entities, whether they are Kuwaitis or non-Kuwaitis.

  • The Civil Service Bureau highlighted that “rewards for non-affiliated individuals or entities not covered by the integrated systems can be processed through the legislation, financial decisions, and miscellaneous entitlement decisions available within the integrated system.”

The Civil Service Bureau has cautioned government entities against disbursing financial dues outside the “integrated systems” after some entities issued payments to non-employed individuals from outside the system.

The bureau stressed to government specialists “the need to disburse all financial dues through the integrated systems and according to the established mechanisms. This practice ensures tighter control, proper auditing of expenditures, and accurate records within the integrated systems, allowing both the entity and regulatory authorities to refer to them as needed.”

The bureau also highlighted that “rewards for non-affiliated individuals or entities not covered by the integrated systems can be processed through the legislation, financial decisions, and miscellaneous entitlement decisions available within the integrated system.”

In its communication to several government entities, the bureau noted that “some agencies have been disbursing rewards to work teams, committees, and others from outside the integrated systems, including payments to individuals who are not employed by or using the services of the entities, whether they are Kuwaitis or non-Kuwaitis.”

The specialists from these government entities recommended “using the beneficiaries’ support system if names are not found in the integrated system databases, so the bureau can control and address these cases as soon as possible.”
