General Authority for Civil Information removes 1,197 addresses from Civil IDs

The authority urges individuals to update their new address by submitting supporting documents within 30 days or face fines up to 100 dinars.

The General Authority for Civil Information announced the removal of 1,197 addresses from civil IDs. According to a decision published in the Kuwait Today newspaper, these addresses were deleted based on acknowledgments from the property owners or due to the demolition of the buildings, Al Jarida newspaper reported.

The General Authority for Civil Information called for individuals to update their new address by submitting supporting documents within thirty days from the date of the decision. Failure to do so may result in a penalty under Article 33 of Law No. 32 of 1982, which includes a fine of up to 100 dinars for each individual.
