Kuwait ensures secure food stock and robust security

In response to the region’s exceptional circumstances and escalating tensions, the government is implementing comprehensive emergency measures and preparations at multiple levels.

  • Government agencies are coordinating with the private sector, including companies, institutions, and hospitals, on issues such as the strategic stock of food, medicine, and other areas of cooperation to leverage the capabilities of both the government and private sectors.

Relevant government agencies are actively taking necessary measures and preparing for the escalating tension and rapid developments in the region, reports Al-Rai newspaper.

In line with the directives of the Council of Ministers to address all potential scenarios and ensure the provision of basic services, materials, and smooth business operations while safeguarding citizens’ and residents’ interests, ministries and relevant authorities are actively taking the necessary measures.

Sources have reassured that the strategic food stock is secure and sufficient, with concerned authorities committed to maintaining food supply levels and enhancing food security and safety.
