Fingerprint system glitch causes attendance delays for external staff

While the use of fingerprint attendance for ministry and government employees continues for a second day (two hours after the start of work), several government agencies with staff working in external locations have started contacting the Civil Service Bureau, according to Al Rai newspaper.
The agencies are seeking solutions for the attendance issue until smartphone programs, which will allow employees to verify their location and presence at the workplace, are fully activated.
