MOH forms committee to review emergency plans in hospitals

The Ministry of Health (MOH) issued a decision to form an emergency committee in hospitals to review and update the ministry’s comprehensive plans to face contingencies.

In another development, the MOH Assistant Undersecretary Dr. Abdullah Al-Fares made a round of inspections at clinics, and the ambulance point at the 360 mall, where he was briefed on the workflow and services provided.

The MOH said in a press statement reported by Al Jarida that clinics receive about 100 referral patients per week, where the best medical treatments are available, thereafter critical patients are referred to the emergency and trauma divisions in public hospitals.

It is noteworthy that the 360 mall received the Diamond Award in the ‘Health Enhancement Malls’ initiative, reaffirming its commitment to providing a safe and healthy environment for its visitors.
