MEW opens “Wafar” pavilion at the Avenues

Khadija Mashari, the head of the media and awareness team to rationalize consumption of electricity, water and renewable energy said that the ministry will continue its direct awareness campaigns for the public, announcing the opening of the “Wafar” pavilion at The Avenues, until 10 August.

Mashari said that the ministry is keen to reach out to customers at their frequented venues, to raise awareness on modifying consumer behaviour with regards to energy and water.

She explained that the pavilion located in The Avenues aims to highlight consumption behavior, pinpoint areas of waste, indicating that the pavilion is a model of a miniature house fitted with electrical appliances and tools.

She said that through the pavilion, the ministry is highlighting the “Incentive Program” to rationalize consumption via the Sahel app for energy efficiency.
