Kuwaiti passport ranks third in Arab world, 49th globally

The Kuwaiti passport provides its holders with the convenience of visa-free entry to 99 countries.

  • The passport of the United Arab Emirates ranks as the most powerful Arab passport and ninth globally, allowing entry to 185 countries without a visa.

  • Globally, the Singapore passport ranked first, allowing its holder to enter 195 countries without a visa.

The Kuwaiti passport stands as the third most powerful in the Arab world and 49th globally in 2024, offering visa-free access to 99 countries.

According to data from Henley & Partners, a company specializing in immigration and residency affairs, the passport of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) ranks as the most powerful Arab passport and ninth globally, allowing entry to 185 countries without a visa.

The Qatari passport is second in the Arab world and 46th globally, permitting entry to 107 countries without a visa.

The Saudi passport is fourth in the Arab world and 56th globally, allowing entry to 88 countries without a visa, while the Bahraini passport is fifth in the Arab world and 57th globally, granting access to 87 countries without a visa.

The Omani passport ranked sixth in the Arab world and 58th globally, allowing entry to 86 countries, making it the most powerful Gulf passport in the Arab world.

The passports of Somalia, Yemen, Iraq, and Syria came last in the Arab world.

Globally, the Singapore passport ranked first, allowing its holder to enter 195 countries without a visa. France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Japan all ranked second.
