Health minister prioritizes elevating healthcare services

Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi, the Minister of Health, has expressed his pride in the political leadership’s renewed confidence in him as Minister of Health.

He expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-JaberAl-Sabah, may God protect him, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, may God protect him, for their trust and renewed confidence in him.

Dr. Al-Awadi affirmed the continuation of efforts to improve the health services provided to citizens through several pillars. These include facilitating access to integrated health services, expanding specialized construction and development services, receiving and operating major health projects in hospitals and treatment centers, and expanding specialized clinics in primary health care centers (dispensaries). Additionally, efforts in digital transformation, mechanizing health services, and reducing the documentary cycle aim to facilitate citizens’ access to health services smoothly.

He stressed that alongside facilitating access, the first priority remains to raise the quality and type of health services, focusing on strengthening disease prevention.
